hi guys
first of all - do we even have a date for this thing?
it would be easier to get people to work if we know when the party will take place
seconed - 3000 is about right , maybe we should consider joining with another fachschaft on this one
it will take a lot of the workload and cash flow pressure from us
thired - this is a much bigger thing because this time we will do everything , not just a bar so we will need to draft all the people we can and we should start now !!!
you can sign me in to whatever you need and i will stay for a double shift (unlike last time)

hi all
first of all i want to say thanks for everything
i think we all gave it our best and it was a huge success
it was a lot of fun working with all of you and the atmosphere was great
(i dont know if you noticed but we had a lot of returning customers)
our overall profit was good and our net prifit went down just because we didnt
have enough alcohol (could be a lot worse)

i think that our lessons for next time should be(besides buying more alcohol)
to advertise that we have the biggest cocktails in the party
the other bars sold tiny drinks for the same price and our drinks also looked great
so we can either sell them for more or just use cheaper alcohol
 
the only thing that let me down was the fact that not many sfs students came
but what can you do about that

my blue plastic box and the tupper
and the rest of the sprudel bottles (if thez are full)
i think that is all but i am not sure
i will be in tubingen on sunday evening so maybe we can meet and i will take my stuff
all the other pfend bottles can be taken to the nearest place you know

the british flag belongs to nomi but if it needs cleaning i can take it here and put it in the laundry

for all of you who said they will bring equipment for the bar:

NOW is the time to bring it with you to the sfs
you can bring it to me or to armin , i will make a list of what you bring.

we still need some more coolers so if you have one please let us know
we also need tongs(for the ice) and small buckets to put it too.

extras:
100 plastic cups(the cheapest, just in case)
alcohol - vodka , rum ...(also just in case)
staple gun(or a stapler)

for all of you who are giving a shift at the bar but don't know how to make the drinks:

CAIPIRINHA
2 oz. Cachaca
1 oz. Simple Syrup or tsp. of sugar
1/2 Lime quartered.
Place lime quarters in the bottom of mixing glass, add the syrup and muddle extracting the juice and the oil in the skin from the lime quarters. Chill a rocks glass with cracked ice. Add Cachaca to the mixture in the mixing glass and dump the ice into the mixing glass and shake well. Pour the entire contents of the mixing glass back into the chilled rocks glass and serve.

CUBA LIBRE
2 oz. Cuban Rum (Good Luck finding it!)
Coco Cola
Lime wedge
Pour the rum over ice in the highball glass and fill with coca cola. Squeeze in a lime wedge.
 
TEQUILA SUNRISE
1 1/2 oz. White Tequila
Orange Juice
Grenadine
Ice a highball glass. Fill with tequila and fresh orange juice and top off with a float of Grenadine.

and you don't have to hava a master in pouring shots in to cups

well i have good news and bad news

i will start with the good news:
shopping is done and i got the following:
rum (havana club) 2 liters
tequilla (sierra) 4 liters
cachaca (pitu) 3 liters
ramazzoti 1.5 liters
jaegermeister 2 liters

cola 15 liters
orange juice 30 liters
banana juice 6 liters
cherry juice 6 liters
grenadin 1.5 liters
sugar syrup 1.5 liters
1 kg of nuts

plastic cups (540)
shot cups (320)
straws(540)
bar cover(10m)
flachenausgiesser(6)*(i dont know the word for it in english)

we still have to buy :
ice
oranges(15)
lime(25-30)
mint(if we want)
block of paper

so far for the good new now the bad news is the price
346.45
i know it is much higher then the limit but we also get 20 back for the bottles
and i the prices of brand name rum tequilla and cachaca are high
and i guess i didnt consider tax which was almost 48.
so i was only 70 euro above 250 and i will buy whatever orange juice
that will remain and we can also sell the unused bottles.

i guess now its the time to do some agressive marketing
we should e.mail all our people and make sure they are coming
and the rest of the things we need are cheap
sorry again but the bastards only show you the price after it is checked in
and i only bought what was on the list

about the wine ,i can get some wine plastic cups in metro but they cost more
we can just serve it in regular cups or not at all
i think 3 spirits the ciba and the shots are enough.

i will go on tomorrow so if we need any extras post them now
i can get more alcohol but then i will also need to get more lime cola
(or whatever else we need to make the drink).

its good to know that the romanistics issue has been resolved
i feel bad for them but it was just too late.

i guess no one is joining me in metro
so just let me know who will pick up the stuff and when

about drinks:

i have the list and the total cost will be around 250
(including the bar cover ,cups ,paper blocks ect.

lits ahsame because i just finished checking profit margins for beer
and spirits and selling beer is the best way to go
