OK dudes, honestly, we should think about our Ersti-Party. I'm already making a playlist for that party and I think we should have it before November. Which would imply having it this weekend - maybe a bit short, isn't it?

Whatever, we could also think about next weekend. Or Wednesday next week? But, wouldn't many people prefer to go somewhere else then?

OK, so lets start two discussions: one about WHEN, the other about WHAT.

WHEN:
Friday 26th, Wednesday 31st, Friday 2nd?

WHAT:
Drinks: Hubert's stuff & whatver the Fachschaft buys. Cars, anybody?
Music: we need some amplification. I'll talk to Ramon next time I see him. My laptop's speakers are really not going to do the trick. I extended my music collection in the past few weeks and am currently... looking for new stuff. Expect lunatic bagpipe-metal and related stuff.
Location: as usual?
Motto: weird (computational) linguists dressed randomly? Or black, as usual? Or do we care at all?

Halloween seems to be out of question. So WHEN? Some suggestions:

- next Tuesday, the day before Halloween (bad because there are classes the next day)
- next Thursday, the day after Halloween (bad because it's a holiday and people might be leaving for the weekend early)
- next Friday (bad out of the same reasons as Thursday)
- next Wednesday after all?

Precisely, what does "out of question" mean? Some (2) people have announced they won't attend a SfS Halloween party. How many people can we expect, and how does this depend on the date?

Hmm the barkeepers are among the most important people on a party, and ours have already proven themselves in battle (BB-Fest)  :)

Who would NOT be there on Thursday (except Niels)?

Another option (which, I think, includes at least 1 barkeeper attending): early on Wednesday, so that people can leave and go on to other parties, but will still be at ours...

That would let our party die early. We don't want that.

It's not only about the members of the Fachschaft: it's also about our Guests - it's even mainly about our guests and I think they won't be able to make it Wednesday. So I vote for Thursday or Friday. Where's Niels on Thursday?

Besides: we should think about the next BB-Fest - and visit the Fachschaften VV @ Brechtbau. We haven't done so for quite a while, have we?

I'm not going there. They smoke all the time, and I'm prone to ruin my lungs anyway. Right, guests. So you suggest Thursday or Friday. I don't mind and I'm not the person to decide this - besides, I'm really weary of this! State your opinion, everybody, and come to a conclusion!

There doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for this party from any side.

Well, anyway: I couldn't help with the party on Wed, but I would be there on either day.

So:

We won't have a Halloween party. Instead, we will have a 1st-semester-party after the Ersti-weekend, most probably on Friday next week. That leaves enough time to announce it - *on* the Ersti-weeend, presumably; Aleks, could you take care of that? - and to prepare whatever needs to be prepared. No costumes, then.

Because it's long after Halloween. I mean, you can come dressed up as whatever you like, but... I wouldn't want to frighten the Erstis with dark costumes donned without apparent reason.

Ich hab mal von ner Freundin 'ne Postkarte bekommen, auf der das draufstand; zusammen mit ner Silhouette, die das Schild "Hier kotzte Goethe" hochhielt. Sehr lustiges Kärtchen. Sollte ich mir an die Tür hängen...
