A lot of the sentences you come across is simply nonsense and you have to make sense of them.
a. If she has an essay to write she will study late in the library.
b. She will study late in the library.
c. She has an essay to write.
In an experiment by Byrne, 71% of the participants said c follows from a and b. Aleks is surprised that the number isn't even higher.
Anas: I would go a step further and say they're right.
