Fachschaft meeting 2006-12-14

Thanks to Anas for reminding me! The next meeting is going to take place next Thursday, 14 Dec at 6 PM 4 PM. This is the last of our three switching meeting times, the one we haven't yet tried. New and exciting! As a meeting place I suggest the Saints and Scholars, a place directly opposite the SfS. Surely there'll be a free table for us to crowd around. :D CU!

- Christmas/After-Landeslehrpreis-Party (Wed 20 Dec, to be announced via e-mail before the meeting, on Monday or so)

all the international students have german class
so i guess i will miss it

It said 6 PM here, I thought that was okay. I can make it at 4 PM or 8 PM as well. What about the others people from higher semesters? Aleks? Anna? Armin? Charlotte? Johannes? Jon? Laura? Sladja? ...?

8pm yes, if somebody agrees to carry my to the room and bind me onto a chair so I don't fall over...

Well, seems that some of the 3rd semester students and some others (the first semester Auslaenders) have to rely on the forum again...  :roll:

6 pm - okay, but could only stay till shortly before 7
8 pm - probably not, unless you're planning to stay till after 9 or 10 - then I could meet you later...

A difficult decision then... luckily, I've come up with the brilliant idea to have Sladja make it, because she can't make Mondays at all. And Sladja says let's have the meeting at

4 PM.

So that's it, then. Sorry for those for whom it's a bad time, you see what it's like...

Well, that's pretty bad. I just discovered that both 6 and 8 pm would work for me after all (no forum scientiarum talk this week), but 4 is absolutely impossible because I've got semantics... and I expect you won't stay there until after 6, right? Sorry - then I can't attend the meeting.

Thanks, Laura! Your sacrifice is appreciated. :)

Nomi, Anna, Charlotte, Andreas, Anas, Armin and I were in the meeting today. We basically talked about the Christmas/Truckenbrodt party.

Anna and Charlotte will ask Herr Truckenbrodt about the money and food matters tomorrow.

On the day of the party, a group of a few people (Anna, Armin, Charlotte, Kilian, hopefully Sladja and anyone who'd like to join in) will be at the SfS from 4 PM on and just keep working until the room looks ready for the party.

There is also a "Who brings what" list for cardboard dishes and plastic cutlery/cups, but it is in my dorm whereas my only working Internet connection at the moment is at the ZDV. Gotta work on that. ;) I'll post the list in the Christmas party thread later on.
